"I was a loyal State Farm customer for years. When I moved to Minnesota over 20 years ago I moved my insurance to Paul Hanson. I stopped buy the local office to introduce myself and was told that Paul would not meet with me. I explained that I was a long time customer and simply wanted to meet my new agent and was told Paul does not meet with his customers. I decided to leave and work with another agent I noticed my review from back then was removed and now it looks like "Paul" is now responding to customer reviews. If Paul would not meet with me in person 20 years ago I am thinking his response to your comments I see are not from Paul I'm sorry but I'm still angry and was telling my teenage daughters about being careful who they are doing business with I shared this story Be careful working with this company Thank you Thank you for your response I was a customer I did request a face to face meeting if nothing more than to shake Paul's hand. Maybe you had me listed as Marvin Griffey and not Lamar. I'm not confusing you with another agent and I made this request in person and not over the phone. I'm sure Paul had no idea that his people in the office back then were communicating that he would not meet in person. I'm glad to hear that you are meeting with your customers and it's a shame that I had this experience with your employees back then and I assumed it was from your direction. I appreciate your offer to help but I'm very satisfied with my current agency and have been working with him for many years. Thank you"

They reached out right away after I filed my claim to make sure I was OK, to explain how they would support me through the claims process and to answer any questions I had at the time. They have continued to follow up with me to see how the repair process is going, which makes me feel so supported. Even better, they have preferred repair shops, so I don’t have to be a middle person relaying information - they work directly with the preferred shop I selected to take care of everything! I appreciate their dedication to making a tough situation as easy and seamless as possible. I would absolutely recommend Paul Hanson’s team for your insurance needs!"

"My Truck has been in a Tennessee Dealership Service shop since 11 Nov 2022. I Reside in Minnesota and i am still trapped down here in Tennessee with no assistance from state farm! I have called "Dozens" of times trying to have some type of answer to why no one has reached out to the Dealership where my truck has yet to be seen by state farm! I have talked, talked and wasted my breath with individuals lacking common sense. Over 30 years of paying premiums this is how a customer gets treated? I am Not a "Happy Neighbor!" Also this accident was caused by negligence from another party. Multiple calls to Paul Hanson's Office and have talked to only the clerks trying to get answers to why the claims department has not followed thru with any of the requests made by Paul Hansons's Clerks, the Dealership Management, and myself. Where is Paul? Does he exist? Why has he not reached out to his customer? Is he not my agent? Claims department has been terrible. Without even sending an adjuster or investigator out to the shop here in Tennessee they cut a settlement check 3 days after the incident and they sent it to my residence knowing i am stranded and tethered to a inoperable vehicle here in Tennessee! The cost just to get the vehicle on a rack to even inventory the extent of damage will be more then half the amount of the check. We are dealing with mechanical, suspension, tires, trim, body shop and labor. They want to use aftermarket and used mismatched parts including used tires based on a picture estimate! Really?? Is this why they did not send an adjuster on site. One of the girls in the office tried to ensure me they would send someone out but a week later again nothing but excuses. I called again to the claims department and then back to Paul Hansons with disappointment. This was still back in November.... It seems like a shampoo/Rinse/ repeat topic once again and it's still the same as of today. I hate to even leave a 1 star review as they do not deserve that. I just spoke to the Service Manager here in Tennessee and he has not heard from any state farm agent nor by proxy 3rd party investigators. He remains baffled to how state farm claims they have no state farm associates in the area and as how he has not been able to place a wrench to my vehicle. I have been told by state farm I can utilize my rental but it's one rental per claim. I have not utilized due to if I rent a car and return back to my home in Minnesota, how does my vehicle get back to Minnesota? These are questions i asked and get nothing but crickets! What's my time worth? How does one resume life, career, or anything while stranded with limited options and communication from a insurance company🤔. Not sure where this is heading or moving towards but either total my vehicle or call the dealership to Green light the repairs! I will comment back when this claim gets rolling with some sort of positivity or not..."
